What is Rock Camp? Rock Camp is a session of SOAR Summer Camp that focuses specifically on rock climbing technique and technical skills. This camp is open to rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in the Cherry Creek School District. Alongside experienced adult staff and high school rock climbing leaders, participants will learn how to tie knots, belay, and be coached through various rock climbing skills. No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome! This year, we are super excited to offer an opportunity for participants to climb on REAL rock in addition to a trip to an area rock gym! Our last day of camp will be spent off-campus at a nearby climbing site and will go until 4 pm.

Thursday 6/25 *off-campus day* – 9:00 am -12:00 pm (Rock camp drop-off and pick-up Movement Centennial rock gym) Friday 6/26 *off-campus day* – 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (Rock Camp drop-off and pick-up Castlewood Canyon State Park. Please note that this day is longer than the rest and will require each participant to bring a lunch)
