Day 1: June 5 – Time: 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Day 2: June 6 – Time: 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Day 3: June 7 – Time: 9:00 a.m. – Noon
Day 4: June 8 – Time: 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Location: CCHS Outdoor Climbing Wall (located just west of CCHS Baseball Field).
CAMP MEETS DAILY AT CCHS OUTDOOR WALL, TRANSPORTATION TO OFF-CAMPUS SITES WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE CREEK ADVENTURE PROGRAM
Cost: $330.00 Limit: 15 students Minimum to run camp: 12 students

The SOAR Program at Cherry Creek High School is a community of high school Adventure Leaders trained to facilitate adventure activities and outdoor experiences. We invite students throughout the Cherry Creek School District to experience the Summer Rock Camp.

*Rock Camp Fee : $330 (plus service fee)
*Cancellation or Change Fee: $25
*Registration fee increase within 4 days of camp start date
*No Refunds will be granted within 4 days prior to the start of each camp
*Camps open to all Cherry Creek School District - Middle School Students

- Campers will travel off-campus in a van to Denver Bouldering Club South
- Campers will travel off-campus in a van to Castlewood Canyon State Park

- Daypack
- Full water bottle
- Extra snacks as needed
- Athletic shoes (lace-up,closed-toed and closed-heal)
- Comfortable, athletic clothing
- Sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, hat)
- Rain jacket
- *Friday only* – Packed lunch
- Personal climbing harness/climbing shoes/climbing helmet (must pass instructor inspection)
Enjoy a week of rock climbing experiences:
- Meet your team of fellow students in the district and make new friends!
- Build knot tying skills and improve climbing technique
- Learn how to belay a fellow student to develop your responsibility for others
- Develop a true sense of community and contribute to the success of others by supporting your teammates to the top of the wall
- Practice short route bouldering at a local climbing gym
- Apply the skills learned all week on real rock at an outdoor rock climbing site
- Experience the magic of climbing natural cliffs among new friends in a beautiful state park
