Student Outdoor Adventure Representatives (SOAR)
SOAR is a club designed for Adventure Leaders to expand on their leadership experiences. To become an Adventure Leader you must take the Adventure and Adventure Leadership Training classes. One can be a member of SOAR if you have completed this training, even if one are not currently leading a class.
SOAR team members are important extensions of the Creek Adventure Program because they provide facilitation for outside groups that use our Challenge course on campus. Members of SOAR are leaders in the field of challenge course facilitation because few high school students in the world have the skills needed to be an Adventure Leader / Challenge Course facilitator. For more information about this program, the challenge course at Creek, or connecting with current SOAR members contact Mike Goeglein at the Creek Adventure Program |
