COLT Club will resume in the Fall of 2022.  Students, attend Club Fair in September to find out more information about COLT.
Have you or your child benefited from the Creek Adventure Program?  If so, consider giving back.  Donations are accepted through the Cherry Creek Schools Foundation c/o Creek Adventure Program

The Creek Adventure Program would like to honor the legacy of Lauren Guthrie and her philosophy to "Make a Difference."   The addition of our outdoor climbing wall will be dedicated to Lauren and her ability to connect others through Adventure Education.
If you would like to donate to this project, please do so through the

Cherry Creek Schools Foundation:
Creek Adventure Program.

What is C.O.L.T. Club?

Our mission is to connect, accept, challenge and grow through adventure experiences.

COLT is made up of three branches: mountain, water and climbing.
  • Our mountain branch takes students into the great outdoors for trips including backpacking, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, and winter yurting.
  • Our climbing branch climbs on our school climbing wall twice a month and competes in the Colorado High School Climbing League once a month.
  • Our water category teaches basic white water kayaking and PADI scuba certifications through Adventure Water Sport Classes.

C.O.L.T. stands for Creek Outdoor Leadership Training. Created in 1997 to expose Cherry Creek High School students to the great outdoors through organized group trips. Leadership skill building for student mentors who learn how to plan, organize, and execute trips for groups of 5-15 participants with the assistance of seasoned outdoor adult sponsors.

Trips are open to all students attending Cherry Creek High School. Want to go on a trip but don't have the gear? Don't worry we have you covered. Just sign up and we will help you get everything you need. Lets "unplug" to get outside for some great fun and adventures and hey you might learn something too.
